A week-over-week airplay decline does not prevent Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber)” from retaining the #1 spot on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

Played 17,915 times during the July 30-August 5 tracking week, “Despacito” earns a 5th consecutive week at #1.

This week’s count trails last week’s mark by 404 plays but keeps “Despacito” slightly ahead of its closest competitor.

Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” again that closest competitor, received 17,750 spins this week (+1,026).

Up three places, Imagine Dragons’ “Believer” earns #3 with 15,194 plays (+1,198).

Charlie Puth’s “Attention” jumps three spots to #4 with 14,607 (+2,363), while Halsey’s “Now Or Never” drops two places to #5 with 14,355 (-879).
