Sabrina Carpenter’s “Why” does not officially impact pop radio until August 22 (the week of August 21), but three pop stations are already proviing one support.

Unsurprisingly given her Disney association, Radio Disney is by far the biggest early supporter. According to Mediabase, Radio Disney played “Why” a whopping 83 times during the seven days ending August 1.

Other early support has come from Saginaw’s 102.5 WIOG and Salt Lake City’s Mix 105.1.

“Why” is the follow-up to Carpenter’s “Thumbs,” which peaked just outside the Top 25 at pop radio.
