Luke Bryan’s “Kill The Lights” Earns Double Platinum Certification

Luke Bryan’s 2015 studio album “Kill The Lights” attains double-platinum status in the United States.

Luke Bryan’s “Kill The Lights,” which has spawned six country radio number ones, recently became a multi-platinum album in the United States.

According to the RIAA, the 2015 album went double platinum on July 17, 2017. The award confirms 2 million in US units.

Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“Kill The Lights” features the platinum-certified #1 singles “Kick The Dust Up,” “Strip It Down,” and “Huntin’, Fishin’ And Lovin’ Every Day.” It also includes the gold-certified #1 hit “Home Alone Tonight (with Karen Fairchild).” Singles “Move” and “Fast” also hit #1 but have not yet received RIAA certifications.
