Foo Fighters’ “Run” predictably retains the top spot on the Mediabase active rock airplay chart.

Played ~2,040 times during the July 23-29 tracking week, “Run” enjoys a second week at #1.

This week’s spin count trails last week’s mark by 39 plays, but it keeps the Foo Fighters tune ahead of the pack.

Up one place, Metallica’s “Now That We’re Dead” takes #2 with ~1,892 spins (-56).

Stone Sour’s “Song #3” falls one spot to #3 with ~1,866 (-115), while a spin count of ~1,761 (+36) keeps Royal Blood’s “Lights Out” at #4.

Rise Against’s “The Violence,” again the #5 song, garnered ~1,687 tracking week spins (+112).
