For the first time ever, Fifth Harmony is headed to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Amid speculation that a “Fallon” performance was on deck, the group confirmed the news in a Monday afternoon Tweet.

“Get #DOWN with us on @FallonTonight July 24. See you soon @jimmyfallon,” wrote the group.

NBC has not yet announced the interview guests for the July 24 “Fallon.” Headline Planet will share those names when they are released.

News of the “Fallon” performance comes as Fifth Harmony amplifies its support for “Down.” In addition to a Billboard cover story, the four Fifth Harmony members have been enthusiastically promoting their music on social media.

That enthusiasm, coupled with ongoing radio exposure and passion from fans, has produced a big gain on US iTunes. “Down,” which was outside the Top 100 last week, rocketed into the store’s Top 50 this weekend.
