Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Justin Bieber)” continues to approach the incredible 100x platinum mark under the RIAA’s Latin Music Program.

The smash hit recently attained 55x platinum under the program, which recognizes music that is predominantly in Spanish. The RIAA announced the certification Thursday morning, but it was actually awarded on June 8, 2017.

The certification confirms 3.3 million in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams

“Despacito” is the reigning #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100.
