Ratings: AMC’s “Preacher” Falls This Week

The July 3 edition of “Preacher” endured week-to-week losses.

Monday’s “Preacher” trailed the previous episode in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

According to live+same-day data posted by Showbuzz, the broadcast drew a 0.37 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.11 million overall viewers.

The series low numbers trail the 0.43 rating and 1.35 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s broadcast.

Monday’s “Preacher” aired on July 3 — the eve of the Independence Day holiday in America. It is unclear whether that fact entirely explains the drop, but it is highly unlikely that it helped matters.

The July 3 “Preacher” was the third episode of the second season. It was the second to air in the show’s new Monday night timeslot.
