The track went gold in the United States on June 27, 2017. The certification confirms at least 500,000 US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
Including “Where Are U Now” (which was released as a Jack U single but later featured on the Bieber album), “Life Is Worth Living” is the twelfth “Purpose” song to receive an award from the RIAA.
Radio singles “Where Are U Now,” “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry,” “Love Yourself” and “Company” as well as album tracks “Purpose,” “I’ll Show You,” “The Feeling,” “No Sense,” “No Pressure” and “Mark My Words” also hold RIAA certifications.
