NBC has officially renewed “World Of Dance.”

NBC’s new competition series “World Of Dance” has been performing well since its launch in late May.

Based on that performance, the show has unsurprisingly earned a second season renewal.

NBC confirmed the news Thursday.

I am so proud to not only star, but produce a show that is so close to my heart,'” said Jennifer Lopez. “I am so happy that ‘World of Dance’ has resonated with audiences and we are able to put dancers on the pedestal they deserve. I cannot wait to continue this journey and my partnership with NBC.”

“World Of Dance” is averaging a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating on a live+7 basis. It is the full 2016-17 season’s top 10PM series for that metric.
