Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” and Miley Cyrus’ “Malibu” have both attained platinum status in Australia.

ARIA confirms that the new certifications were issued this week.

A platinum award confirms at least 70,000 in Australian units.

“Slow Hands” is back to its #3 peak on this week’s edition of the ARIA Australian Top 50 Singles Chart. “Malibu,” which has gone as high as #3, is #8 on this week’s listing.
