Columbia has finally confirmed The Chainsmokers’ next pop radio single.

According to Columbia’s weekly pop radio newsletter, “Honest” will impact pop radio in conjunction with the June 11 add board.

“Honest,” which appears on the duo’s “Memories…Do Not Open,” will be the follow-up to The Chainsmokers & Coldplay’s “Something Just Like This.” That song hit #1 at pop radio and hot adult contemporary radio.

The “Honest” announcement ends many weeks of speculation regarding the duo’s next single.

It initially appeared that “Break Up Every Night” would get the nod; the song received prominent Spotify playlist exposure in conjunction with the album’s release and was performed on “Saturday Night Live.”

Talk then shifted to “Wake Up Alone (featuring Jhene Aiko),” which was issued to radio programmers on one of the TM Studios’ Hit Disc collaborations.

Speculation then moved in the direction of “Young,” which The Chainsmokers performed at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards (it was also identified as a new single in a press release for the show).
