Fifth Harmony’s new single “Down” is receiving a warm welcome at pop radio.
Picked up by 58 Mediabase-monitored pop stations, “Down” ranks as the format’s most added song.
The weekly “most added” honor is always a notable achievement, and it is particularly impressive in this case: “Down” does not formally impact pop radio until next Tuesday.
Bebe Rexha’s “The Way I Are (Dance With Somebody),” which landed at 25 stations in conjunction with this week’s official impact, takes second on the add board.
Logic’s “1-800-273-8255 (featuring Alessia Cara & Khalid)” ranks as third-most added with 23 pickups, while an add count of 19 slots Camila Cabello’s “Crying In The Club” in fourth place.
Each added by 18 stations, Childish Gambino’s “Redbone,” Imagine Dragons’ “Believer,” and Liam Payne’s “Strip That Down (featuring Quavo)” tie for fifth.
Three songs follow in a tie for eighth place: Katy Perry’s “Swish Swish (featuring Nicki Minaj),” Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.,” and MØ’s “Nights With You” each won support from 15 stations.
