Linkin Park & Kiiara’s “Heavy” Enters Top 50 On Hot 100

“Heavy” cracks the Top 50 in conjunction with the release of “One More Light.”

Linkin Park’s “One More Light” debuts at #1 on this week’s Billboard 200.

“Heavy (featuring kiiara),” the lead radio single from the album, concurrently moves to a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song rises four spots to #50 on this week’s edition of the chart, which ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay.

In conjunction with its Hot 100 rise, “Heavy” climbs to #37 on Radio Songs but falls to #34 on Digital Song Sales*.

*Note: The decline on Digital Song Sales is due, in part, to how Billboard handles “complete my album” purchases on iTunes. If someone who bought the single upgraded to the full album this week, Billboard viewed it as the person “returning” the single (thus subtracting from the sales total). This leads to a lower weekly sales sum — and a lower position on Digital Song Sales.

It does not, however, affect Hot 100 points. Billboard only considers new weekly sales when assessing the Hot 100 position.
