Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” Certified 7X Platinum In US; “Unconditionally” 2X, “Rise” Gold

Katy Perry received new RIAA certifications, including a 7x platinum award for “Hot N Cold.”

Katy Perry’s hit “One Of The Boys” single “Hot N Cold” just ascended to a new multi-platinum tier in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “Hot N Cold” earned a 7x platinum certification on May 16, 2017.

The certification confirms at least 7 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Hot N Cold” was not the only Perry single to receive a certification on May 16. Her “PRISM” single “Unconditionally” went double platinum (2 million units) on that date, while Olympics anthem “Rise” went gold (500,000).
