Shakira’s “Chantaje (featuring Maluma)” is officially 80% of the way to a double-diamond certification under the RIAA’s Latin Music Program.

The RIAA confirms that “Chantaje” received a 16x platinum Latin certification on May 9, 2017.

The certification confirms 960,000 in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The RIAA’s Latin program awards songs and albums with at least 51% of their lyrical content in Spanish.
