Ratings: FOX’s “Empire” Enjoys Gain This Week, Remains Wednesday Champion

Last week, FOX’s “Empire” fell below a 2.0 in adults 18-49 for the first time on record.

This week, it climbed back above that mark.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Empire” drew a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 6.27 million overall viewers.

The numbers top the 1.9 rating and 5.60 million drawn by last week’s episode.

“Empire” was Wednesday night’s #1 show in adults 18-49. It trailed “Survivor” and “Criminal Minds” as the #3 show in viewers.

— FOX led into “Empire” with “Shots Fired.” This week’s episode drew a 0.8 rating and 3.09 million viewers.

Last week’s “Shots Fired” posted a 0.8 rating and 3.10 million.
