The Voice’s Hunter Plake, Lauren Duski Reach Top 10 On iTunes, Win Bonuses

Update 2: For the second straight week, “The Voice” contestants Hunter Plake and Lauren Duski earned iTunes vote multiplier bonuses.

Plake’s “Higher Love” was #9 on the US iTunes chart at the 12PM ET voting deadline. Duski’s “Tell Me Why” was #10.

By virtue of holding Top 10 positions, the two songs will receive 5x multipliers on their iTunes vote/download counts.

Plake and Duski were the only contestants to reach the Top 10 this week, but several others came close. Brennley Brown, Jesse Larson and Aliyah Moulden all held Top 20 positions at the close of voting.

Last week, songs by “The Voice” contestants Lauren Duski and Hunter Plake reached the Top 10 on the US iTunes sales chart.

They have not yet reached the Top 10, but they (at least thus far) again have the competition’s best-selling tracks.

As of 1AM ET, Duski’s “Tell Me Why” is leading the pack at #14 on the all-genre chart. Plake’s “Higher Love” is #16.

Other top-performing tracks include Jesse Larson’s “Jungle Love” (#21), Brennley Brown’s “Anyway” (#23), Aliyah Moulden’s “Jealous” (#24), and Chris Blue’s “24K Magic” (#25).
