Skylar Stecker has been selected for the Radio Disney “NBT” (Next Big Thing) Artist program.
“NBT” showcases up-and-coming artists across various Disney platforms.
As part of the program, the 15-year-old Stecker will film a series of videos chronicling her journey to stardom. The material will be featured on Radio Disney, Disney Channel, the Radio Disney app, RadioDisney.com and major social media platforms.
Previous “NBT” artists include Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Kelsea Ballerini, Bea Miller, Sofia Carson and Jordan Fisher.
News of Stecker’s “NBT” selection comes a week before her single “Only Want You” officially goes for pop radio adds. The song is already receiving considerable airplay on Radio Disney.
