“Spider-Man: Homecoming” is due to receive ample exposure in conjunction with this Sunday’s MTV Movie & TV Awards.
MTV confirms that an episode of “Lip Sync Battle” featuring “Homecoming” stars Tom Holland and Zendaya will air at 7:30PM ET.
The special will lead directly into the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, at which Holland and Zendaya will appear to premiere a new clip from the film.
“I’m thrilled to be producing the ‘2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards’ and the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ lead in,” said Casey Patterson. “I’m so excited that ‘Lip Sync Battle’ will be coming to MTV for the first time with a big exclusive Spider-Man Battle with Zendaya and Tom Holland in his American TV debut. Tom’s performance is epic!”
Along with the news, MTV shared a teaser clip of Zendaya lip-syncing Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic.”
