Paramore’s “Hard Times” Enters Top 60 At Hot AC Radio; Shawn Mendes Joins Top 65

Two new releases are quickly gaining traction at hot adult contemporary radio.

Despite not launching until mid-week, the lead single from Paramore’s “After Laughter” and the latest Shawn Mendes song are already on the map at hot adult contemporary radio.

Played 72 times during the April 16-22 tracking period, Paramore’s “Hard Times” ranks as the Mediabase Hot AC panel’s #58 song.

Shawn Mendes’ “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back,” which received 49 spins, is officially #65.

“Hard Times” received airplay from seventeen Hot AC stations; twenty-two played the Mendes tune.

“Hard Times” is also in the Top 40 at alternative and Top 75 at pop. “There’s Nothing” is inside the Top 50 at pop radio.
