Luis Fonsi’s smash “Despacito (featuring Daddy Yankee)” is the latest single to attain diamond status (10x platinum or better) under the RIAA’s Latin program.

According to the RIAA, the single was certified up to 11x platinum on April 12, 2017.

The certification confirms 660,000 in US units, with each unit equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The RIAA’s Latin program honors music that is primarily in Spanish.

A smash in numerous international markets, “Despacito” has thus far gone as high as #44 on the Billboard Hot 100.
