James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go” Heading Top 15 At US Pop Radio

James Arthur’s international smash “Say You Won’t Let Go” is poised to join the Top 15 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

“Say You Won’t Let Go” received 5,006 spins during the first five days of the April 2-8 tracking week. The count bests the same-time-last-week mark by 11.4%.

While the single is only positioned at #16 on Mediabase’s building chart, there is ample reason to believe it will secure a Top 15 position on the final chart.

For starters, Shawn Mendes’ building #13 single “Mercy” is set to be removed as a recurrent this week. Its removal will lift all lower-ranked songs up by one space.

That, alone, would earn “Say You Won’t Let Go” #15 on the official chart.

“Say You Won’t Let Go” also has a chance of leapfrogging Marian Hill’s building #15 “Down” (which is rapidly decelerating) before the chart goes final.
