The wait is finally over. Harry Styles’ eagerly anticipated “Sign Of The Times” has arrived.

The One Direction member’s debut solo single was made available on all major digital platforms at 3:01AM ET/12:01AM PT Friday. It was also delivered to mainstream US radio, where it is set to receive considerable first-day support.

Rumors of a David Bowie influence were accurate, as were rumors of a nearly six-minute run time (it officially clocks in at 5:42).

“Sign Of The Times” is sure to make a major splash on next week’s charts, but how high will it debut? And what kind of longevity will it have?

Those are questions the music industry will surely be considering as it listens to — and enjoys — “Sign Of The Times.”
