Ratings: “Little Big Shots” Ranks As Sunday’s Top Broadcast Show

Little Big Shots [NBC]

On a night riddled with underwhelming ratings performances, “Little Big Shots” proved to be a rare bright spot.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, the season premiere drew a strong 2.0 adults 18-49 rating and 11.66 million total viewers.

The numbers were the best posted by a broadcast network series Sunday night. In terms of all programming, the demo rating will likely only fall short of that drawn by “The Walking Dead” (and perhaps “Talking Dead”).

“Little Big Shots” led into “Chicago Justice,” which drew a 1.4 and 7.28 million. The numbers are solid; the demo rating was the best drawn by a 9PM network series Sunday night, while the viewership figure was the timeslot’s second-best (beneath that of “Madam Secretary”).

NBC closed its night with the season premiere of “Shades And Blue.” While not cause for major celebration, its numbers (1.0, 5.23 million) were the best posted by a network series in the 10PM timeslot.
