The interview included discussion of fan-fiction he was writing prior to getting his big break on “Glee.”

To support the new release, he appears on Wednesday’s “Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

The interview marks Colfer’s first visit to the Colbert-hosted “Late Show.”

Wednesday’s episode also features Patrick Stewart and Roy Wood, Jr. They too are appearing for their first interviews on the Colbert-hosted “Late Show.”
