Future & Rihanna’s “Selfish” Receiving Rhythmic Airplay In New York, LA

Future’s “Selfish (featuring Rihanna)” is going for rhythmic radio adds in conjunction with Tuesday’s add board, and some of the format’s biggest stations are already providing support.

According to Mediabase, New York’s Hot 97 played “Selfish” an impressive 17 times between its February 24 release and the end of February 26.

Los Angeles’ Power 106 played the song 8 times within that window.

Other early supporters include Fort Myers’ 105.5 The Beat (7 plays) and Boston’s JAM’N 94.5 (5 plays).

A handful of other stations have played the song thrice, twice or once since its release.

— “Selfish” is also receiving support from a few urban stations; Richmond’s iPower, the top urban supporter, had played the song 12 times through February 26.
