The album that has thus far spawned a platinum single in “Somewhere On A Beach” and a gold single in “Different For Girls” just received a certification of its own.

Bentley’s “Black” has been certified gold by the RIAA.

The certification confirms 500,000 in US album units. A unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

Released in May 2016, “Black” debuted at #2 on the consumption-oriented Billboard 200. It took #1 on the Top Album Sales (pure sales) chart.
