Signposted by its ascent to #1 on the US iTunes chart, Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” enjoyed a huge post-Super Bowl sales gain.

In its weekly update, the Interscope radio promotions team notes that “Million Reasons” sold over 149K US downloads during the February 3-9 tracking week, besting the previous week’s mark by several multiples. Gaga’s Super Bowl performance took place on the night of February 5.

The tally brings the song’s US total past the 500K mark. To date, it represents the song’s best sales week by a margin of over 100K.

“Million Reasons” is #1 on BuzzAngle’s weekly US song sales chart; it is expected to claim the same honor on the Billboard Digital Song Sales listing.

It should easily rise to a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100.
