Marian Hill’s mainstream breakthrough and Katy Perry’s new Skip Marley collaboration blast into the Top 25 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

Up six places, Marian Hill’s “Down” takes #21 on this week’s listing. It received 4,021 spins during the February 5-11 tracking week, besting last week’s mark by 1,582. Only two songs enjoyed a greater spin gain this week.

Perry’s “Chained To The Rhythm (featuring Skip Marley),” which launched on February 10, had garnered 2,800 plays by the close of tracking on February 11. The count earns “Chained” a #24 debut position on this week’s chart.

Bottlenecked by its late-week arrival, “Chained” benefited from “on the hour” first day airplay support across the iHeartRadio network (and many other high-profile pop stations).
