Ed Sheeran Confirmed For Grammy Awards Performance

Following his appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” Ed Sheeran shared an Instagram post noting he was headed to Los Angeles.

On the heels of that post, the Recording Academy began Tweeting Ed Sheeran performance GIFs to various fan accounts.

Collectively, the social activity seemed to imply that the singer-songwriter would be performing on Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.

Sheeran confirmed the news in a Sunday afternoon Instagram post.

Hosted by James Corden, the 59th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony airs on CBS. It begins Sunday at 8PM ET/5PM PT.
