Pop radio’s #1 song recently earned a new RIAA certification.

In a press release touting the song’s recent success, Epic Records announces that Machine Gun Kelly x Camila Cabello’s “Bad Things” has been certified platinum in the United States.

The honor confirms 1 million in US units, with each unit equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Bad Things” reached #1 at pop radio this week and maintains the #2 position on the Mediabase rhythmic airplay chart. It has gone as high as #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
