Marian Hill’s “Down” Heading Top 40 At Alternative, Hot AC, Rhythmic Radio

Last week, Marian Hill’s “Down” debuted at #40 on the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

This week, it should crack the Top 40 at three additional radio formats.

The momentum-rich song is poised to enter that territory at alternative, hot adult contemporary and rhythmic radio.

“Down” received 233 alternative spins (+108.0% from same-time last week), 233 hot adult contemporary spins (+323.6%) and 413 rhythmic spins (+208.2%) during the first five days of the January 29-February 4 tracking week.

The counts position Marian Hill’s single at #34 on the building alternative chart, #38 on the building hot adult contemporary chart and #40 on the building rhythmic chart.

Given its rates of gain and the absence of imminent threats from below, “Down” will face no trouble retaining its Top 40 positions at the three formats. It may actually be able to move higher at all three.

“Down” meanwhile looks set to enter the Top 30 on this week’s pop chart.
