Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me” Reaches 4X Platinum, “Hold Tight” Gold

Three Justin Bieber singles — two lead releases, one feature — earned new RIAA certifications on January 20, 2017.

Bieber’s own “As Long As You Love Me” rose to 4x platinum in the US, while “Hold Tight” garnered a gold certification.

Major Lazer’s hit “Cold Water,” which features Bieber and MØ, concurrently went triple platinum.

The quadruple platinum award confirms 4 million US units, while the triple platinum and gold awards respectively confirm totals of 3 million and 500,000.

Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.
