The Chainsmokers’ newly arriving “Paris” will indeed be a radio single.

Columbia confirms that the song, which carries a release date of January 13, will head straight to the pop and rhythmic radio formats.

Airplay could (and likely will) begin immediately, and the first “adds” will be reported in conjunction with the January 17 add board.

“Paris” will serve as the official radio follow-up to The Chainsmokers’ “Closer (featuring Halsey),” which spent a record-tying ten weeks atop the Mediabase pop airplay chart. It also reached #1 at the hot adult contemporary format and peaked inside the Top 5 at rhythmic.
