Billboard has finally weighed in on this week’s album race, confirming a split-chart scenario.

The “Moana” soundtrack claims #1 on Top Album Sales, while The Weeknd’s “Starboy” returns to #1 on the Billboard 200.

According to Billboard, “Moana” tops the former with 44K in pure album sales. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) yields a weekly consumption total of 64K, which is enough for #2 on the Billboard 200.

“Starboy,” which generated 69K in total units (18K of which were pure sales), earns #1 on that consumption-oriented chart.

Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” (45K units) is #3 on the Billboard 200, while Drake’s “Views” (#4, 41K) and J. Cole’s “4 Your Eyez Only” (#5, 39K) complete the Top 5.
