As has become par for the course at awards show, the annual Golden Globes ceremony is unpredictably bouncing between categories. Shortly after revealing the winner for Best Lead Actor in a TV Series, Drama, the ceremony crowned the victor for Best Actress in a TV Series, Musical or Comedy.

The winner was Tracee Ellis Ross.

The “black-ish” star beat out Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Rachel Bloom, Gina Rodriguez, Sarah Jessica Parker and Issa Rae.
