Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy” Reaches Top 30 On Billboard Hot 100

Primarily due to the arrival of songs from J. Cole’s “4 Your Eyez Only,” Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy” fell on last week’s Billboard Hot 100.

It makes up its lost ground — and then some — on this week’s chart.

Up sixteen places, “Mercy” reaches a new peak on the Hot 100.

“Mercy” may move even higher on next week’s chart. The synergy of Christmas/Hanukkah gift card redemptions and a discounted iTunes price point sent “Mercy” to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart. That sales gain, combined with solid radio and streaming activity, could mean good things for the song’s Hot 100 position.
