Earlier this morning, we noted that November 18’s second-biggst release just received a gold certification in the UK.

November 25’s second-biggest release also received that honor.

The BPI confirms that The Weeknd’s “Starboy” album officially went gold this week. The certification confirms 100,000 in UK units.

“Starboy” debuted at #5 on the UK albums chart, but it was the #2 newcomer. Only Kate Bush’s “Before The Dawn” (#4) on the chart debuted higher.
