“Hamilton Mixtape” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart; Childish Gambino, Grace VanderWaal, Kane Brown Follow

Hamilton Mixtape [Hamilton Uptown]

As of 1:45AM ET Friday morning, new releases claim the Top 5 slots on the US iTunes album sales chart.

The explicit version of “The Hamilton Mixtape” predictably occupies #1 on the listing. Childish Gambino’s “Awaken, My Love!” follows at #2, while Grace VanderWaal’s “Perfectly Imperfect” EP is #3.

Kane Brown’s self-titled debut and The Rolling Stones’ “Blue & Lonesome” are #4 and #5, respectively.

Holdovers from The Weeknd (“Starboy,” #6) and Pentatonix (“A Pentatonix Christmas,” #7) claim the next two slots. John Legend’s new release “Darkness And Light” follows at #8.

The clean version of “The Hamilton Mixtape” (#9) and Jordan Smith’s recently released holiday album “‘Tis The Season” (#10) complete the Top 10.

Sales projections for the week’s key new releases should arrive in the next few days.
