When listings first emerged confirming Justin Bieber for the December 5 “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” there was uncertainty about whether it would be a new appearance or footage from a previous episode.

It will apparently be the former.

According to the show’s official website, Bieber will perform “Cold Water” on the episode — a song he has not previously sung on “Ellen.”

“He also has some fun surprises in store for us,” teases the listing.

The December 5 “Ellen” will also feature appearances by Felicity Jones and cast members from “Fuller House.”
