Despite not launching until the fifth day of the November 13-19 tracking week, John Mayer’s “Love On The Weekend” reaches the hot adult contemporary format’s Top 40.

The lead “The Search For Everything” single received 409 tracking week spins, which results in a #34 debut on the Mediabase Hot AC chart. Bottlenecked by the late-week arrival, “Love” benefited from “on the hour” airplay promotions during its first twenty four hours of release.

“Love On The Weekend” is one of five additions to the Top 40 at Hot AC.

James Arthur’s former UK and current Australian #1 “Say You Won’t Let Go” also enters. Up eight places, it claims #35 on the strength of its 382 weekly spins (+108).

Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” follows at #36. The song, which was #42 last week, received 377 spins this week (+101).

Up thirteen places, Lukas Graham’s “You’re Not There” grabs #37. The Danish band’s third single received 373 weekly spins (+182).

James TW’s “When You Love Someone,” the week’s final Top 40 addition, rises three places to #38. It garnered 366 weekly plays (+89).
