Bruno Mars’ “Versace On The Floor” Receiving Pop Airplay In Orlando, San Francisco

“24K Magic” remains the official single — and promotional focus — for Bruno Mars, but several pop stations are beginning to spin another track from his album.

“Versace On The Floor,” which was recently released as an instant gratification track, is receiving ample airplay in Orlando, San Francisco, and Milwaukee.

According to Mediabase, Orlando’s 101.9 AMP played the song a whopping 27 times between November 9 and 15. San Francisco’s WiLD 94.9 played it 25 times within that window, while SF’s 99.7 NOW offered 17 spins.

Milwaukee’s 103.7 played the song 9 times in that 7-day period.

“24K Magic” got off to an explosive start at pop radio, but its gains have recently slowed. Tepid audience callouts — it has the third-lowest net positive score in the latest Mediabase report — may be a factor.

That noted, its run is not completely over; airplay is still up week-to-week.
