Earlier this year, Disturbed’s “The Sound Of Silence” enjoyed a lengthy run atop the Mediabase active rock airplay chart.
This week, its follow-up single “Open Your Eyes” will move into the top slot.
“Open Your Eyes” received 1,631 spins during the first six days of the November 6-12 tracking week. Up 10.9% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots Disturbed’s tune at #1 on the Mediabase building chart.
Highly Suspect’s “My Name Is Human” is not too far behind (#2 building, 1,554 spins, +10.9%), but Disturbed’s song should be able to hold onto its #1 spot through the close of tracking.
It will be seizing the throne from Skillet’s “Feel Invincible,” which is poised to drop to #3 after a single week on top.
