USA Network Logo

The “true crime” trend continues. USA Network has ordered a pilot for “Unsolved,” a scripted serial that chronicles the police investigations into the murders of Tupac and Notorious BIG.

Anthony Hemingway, who worked on “The People v. OJ Simpson,” will direct and executive produce along with his Hemingway|Taylor production partner Mark Taylor. Kyle Long (“Suits”) is writing the pilot.

The drama is based on the experience of former LAPD Detective Greg Kading, who consulted on the pilot and will have a co-executive producer role.
