As it continues its ascent at mainstream radio, gnash’s breakthrough hit “i hate u, i love u (featuring olivia o’brien)” earns a new certification from the RIAA.

The single was officially crowned double platinum on October 26, 2016.

The certification confirms 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“I Hate U, I Love U” has been a strong sales and streaming performer in recent months.
