The Top 5 of this week’s Mediabase alternative airplay chart mirrors the Top 5 on last week’s chart.

That means twenty one pilots’ “Heathens” is once again the #1 song at alternative radio.

Spun ~3,198 times during the October 2-8 tracking week (-45), “Heathens” earns a seventh straight week on top.

Its closest competition again comes from Bastille’s “Good Grief,” which received ~2,867 weekly spins (+66). Green Day’s “Bang Bang” holds at #3 with ~2,729 plays (+64), while The Head And The Heart’s “All We Ever Knew” holds at #4 with ~2,424 (+98).

Credited with ~2,315 weekly spins (+33), Cage The Elephant’s “Trouble” remains #5.
