His second will come on October 12, 2016.
NBC confirms Simpson as the musical guest for that night’s episode. Like the 10/10, 10/11, and 10/13 episodes, the October 12 broadcast takes place in Washington, DC.
Joe and Jill Biden will appear as the episode’s interview guests; Thaddeus Dixon & Corey Glover & Vernon Reid will sit in with The 8G Band as part of a week-long residency.
