ABC’s “Conviction” Premiere Delivers Soft Ratings

The premiere of ABC’s “Conviction” was not a big live+same-day draw. Monday’s episode ranked a distant third in its timeslot for adults 18-49 and total viewership.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, “Conviction” drew a mere 1.0 adults 18-49 rating and 5.44 million total viewers. The numbers markedly trail those of timeslot rivals “Timeless” (1.9, 7.66 million) and “Scorpion” (1.7, 8.81 million).

ABC led into “Conviction” with “Dancing With The Stars.” The reality competition veteran drew a 1.6 rating and 10.57 million viewers in the 8PM slot. It posted a 1.7 and 10.54 million at 9PM.
