Ratings: “Blindspot” Timeslot Premiere Matches Season One Finale

Blindspot [NBC]

The live+same-day numbers posted by Wednesday’s “Blindspot” are not those of a blockbuster hit.

They are, however, on par with what the show was doing late in season one — when it was receiving lead-in support from “The Voice.”

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Blindspot” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating and 6.00 million total viewers in its new 8PM timeslot.

While last week’s “AGT”-assisted season premiere posted stronger marks (1.5, 7.1), “Blindspot” spent the last part of its first season in similar territory. Airing out of “The Voice,” the April and May 2015 editions of “Blindspot” either posted 1.3 or 1.4 ratings in adults 18-49.

None, moreover, drew as many total viewers. Save for last week’s season premiere, one would need to go back to March 2015 to find a “Blindspot” that drew more than 6.00 million.

— “Blindspot” led into “Law & Order: SVU” (1.8, 7.69 million), which led into “Chicago PD” (1.6, 6.86 million).
