Hey Violet’s “Guys My Age” May Receive US Pop Radio Push

Hey Violet [FOX]

Hey Violet, the Teen Choice 2016 winner for Next Big Thing, may soon have a song on mainstream radio.

The band’s new song “Guys My Age” was recently made available to pop radio professionals; it currently appears on AllAccess’ “Cool New Music” delivery system.

While Caroline Records has not yet confirmed a formal pop radio campaign — let alone an impact date — the appearance on Cool New Music suggests such a push is under consideration.

Hey Violet has been leveraging the Internet and social media to develop a passionate fanbase. Three of the band’s tracks have over 1 million Spotify streams, and the recently released “Brand New Moves” EP went as high as #2 on the US iTunes album sales chart.

“Guys My Age” is currently inside the Top 50 on the US iTunes album sales chart.
